The natural catastrophe protocol facilitates the management of both customers and intermediaries, with a fast and efficient response.
In view of the serious forest fire ravaging the island of Tenerife, Zurich Seguros has set up its special action plan to ensure rapid and efficient attention to its affected customers. For this reason, the insurer’s assistance centre has deployed measures as part of this emergency plan, setting up an exclusive free telephone line for special and priority attention so that customers can report claims related to the fire.
These telephone lines are managed by a specialised team that will offer an immediate response at any time of the day: 900 104 936. The insurer has also reinforced the expert network, as well as video-operating resources to offer greater support to those affected.
In addition, Zurich’s distribution channel teams are in permanent contact with its mediation network in the affected areas. This action will ensure that customers can communicate with the company, in addition to the aforementioned telephone line.
The implementation of the emergency plan is the result of the agile and efficient commitment of the company’s teams, so that customers can be attended and serviced and be at their disposal when they need it or have doubts about how to act. This plan is part of the Zurich Contigo programme, with which the company seeks to support its customers in the face of adversity.
